Before Applying
Q1: Do I need to purchase a ticket before applying for cosplay registration?
A1: Yes. A valid ticket purchased through official platforms is required.
Q2: Can the cosplay registration date differ from the ticket date?
A2: No. The registration date must match the ticket date. For example, if you wish to enter the Cosplay Hall on 29 May, you must hold a valid ticket for 29 May.
Q3: Can 3-day or premium ticket holders choose their cosplay date freely?
A3: Yes. You may select any date within the valid period. If you wish to enter on multiple days, separate registrations are required for each day.
Application Process
Q4: How long does it take to receive the application result?
A4: Approximately 7 working days. Early application is recommended.
Q5: Do I need to submit photos of myself in costume?
A5: No. Only reference images of the intended character are required.
Q6: How can I change my cosplay character or costume?
A6: Please contact the organizer (info@hkcomiccon.com) via your registered email to cancel the original application and submit a new one.
Q7: If my application is not approved, can I still enter the venue?
A7: Yes. You can still enter the event as a general visitor with a valid ticket. Please review the official Cosplay & Props Policy, make the necessary adjustments, and submit your application again. https://www.hkcomiccon.com/cosplay

Q8: Is the Cosplay Hall only for cosplayers? Can photographers enter as well?
A8: Photographers who wish to enter the Cosplay Hall must submit an application in accordance with the event guidelines, fill in “Photographer” in the “Character / Series” field, and upload a personal photo for verification.
Q9: Are cosplayers restricted to the Cosplay Hall area?
A9: Cosplayers are free to enter and exit different exhibition areas within the venue.
However, please follow staff instructions and avoid prolonged stationary activities in general exhibition areas.
Q10: Are there any storage facilities for luggage or props on site?
A10: Yes. Storage is available at Cosplay Hall (Hall 3F) on a first-come, first-served basis.
